Storytelling Headshots for Entrepreneurs I often get asked about these “Storytelling Headshots for Entrepreneurs”… Questions like: Why are they “storytelling”? What if I don’t consider myself an entrepreneur? I’m pretty sure all I need is just a basic headshot for social media, why would I do this? So I’ll just go ahead and tell you why you absolutely need one of these sessions! Well, maybe you don’t, but if you’re here, reading this, you probably do. You are here for a reason and maybe your subconscious mind knows something you don’t know. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t – coy, it is. Back on task. Here’s what these sessions are all about. They’re about ease and flow. They’re about integrity and alignment. They’re about intuition and inspiration. You don’t have to be a master of any of these concepts, but, in our conversations, we’ll connect to that place where you feel these things. These amazing, perfect things and how they translate to the work you’re doing, the art you’re putting out to the world and the people you best connect with in the wonderful Land o’ The Ideal Client. When we connect to that part of you that is inspired and loves what she does, we can talk about how that radiates into every part of your businesses. Here’s what we clarify: What is your message? Who do you serve? Why do you do this work? Then we translate that into visuals. What is your brand? Your style? Your personality? How does your message and your other vital elements weave into these visuals? Then we play. Maybe we consult...
Last Friday we hosted a fundraiser at the studio, taking head shot images of participants, with 100% of session fees going towards the Kyrie Foundation. We had a great turnout of generous folks and we had a really great time. It was so much fun to photograph and to raise funds for such a great cause. I’d like to give an extra big thank you to my hair and makeup artist, Karinna Wurth, who donated her time and talents to give some extra pampering to those who wanted it. We know how to live it up over here! Our event raised over $300, which is a very small drop in the big bucket of need, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. Along with raising dollars, my goal is to raise awareness of pediatric brain cancer and for the Kyrie Foundation, and their fight to find preventions and a cure. I’d like to invite you all to next week’s special fundraising event at the studio. We’ll be doing 10 minute studio sessions – perfect for updating your headshot for social media profiles, website, business cards, etc. – and Karinna, our makeup artist, is donating her time to do quick makeup and hair touch ups! We’re suggesting a $35 donation for the session fee. Along with the touch-up and session, you’ll receive 2 digital images, sized both for web and printable to 4×6. Other fun products will be available, of course. So what’s this all about? Aside from a fun way to busy-up the studio mid-winter, this is a fundraiser for a great cause. All session fees will go to the Kyrie foundation, helping to fight pediatric brain cancer, saving the lives of our littlest friends. So please share this with friends, family and coworkers. We all need to update those profile pics – take advantage of this special event! Hope to see you Friday! Shoot me a note for more details or to book your session. Friday, Jan 25th from 10 am – 2 pm.
