Thinking inside and outside of a pretty big box. | Portraits for Entrepreneurs

Declaration of Interdependence | Entrepreneurs Unite (in Europe) (or Colorado)

Today I made a commitment to be consistent about communicating with my community and inviting my community to be more connected with the work I’m doing.

You, being My Community, are the ones I want to connect with. I’m so glad you’re here. I appreciate your support and I hope to connect in-person as well as in this virtual world.

For you that are entrepreneurs – past, present or future entrepreneurs, you may appreciate the blog I wrote for Cowork Evergreen. This speaks of the consistent communication commitment I made – I want my process to be transparent, as it may help others as well. It talks about simplifying all the processes of your business and boiling it down to two simple actions.  You can read more here.

Why would I write this? Am I a business coach? Am I changing careers?

While I’m not a biz coach and I am not changing careers, my eyes are opening to the bigger possibilities of how I can connect with and help others around me in the best way I know how. As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I’ve studied with some of the best teachers around and have learned many lessons about what works and what doesn’t work. I’ve learned much from my own experience and from the lessons my clients and peers have taught me. There are also the personal aspects that are entwined yet are so often overlooked as people assume business life is separate from personal life. If you’re an entrepreneur, you KNOW they’re one in the same.  I feel compelled to share, compelled to encourage others in a similar situation to mine.  I know this road can be lonely, challenging and sometimes frustrating and I want to be a source of positive support.

I don’t know what this means exactly for my business and how this will change things – my plan is to continue on, guided by inspiration, intuition and the words I’m hearing from you.

I’m pretty sure this means I will have a stronger commitment to refining my niche to work with you amazing business folk and creating storytelling headshots for entrepreneurs.

Another project that will be happening soon will be an international branding of Katy Moses Photography. I’ll be hauling the family to Europe in 2016. As a family, we’ll adventure and explore. As a business, I’ll be connecting with, adventuring with, and exploring with other entrepreneurs, learning about your businesses and doing magical storytelling photo sessions together. I’ll be looking for those that are inspired to change the world so we can tell your stories to in-turn inspire the world. It will be an experience like none other. If you’d like to learn more, be sure to sign up for this special email list by sending a quick note to katy@katymosesphotos.com.You’ll be the first to hear updates, get behind-the-scenes info and get first dibs on signing up for your own special session and you’ll also get to give input on best time and place for you. These sessions will be very limited, but I’ll schedule as many as I can humanly do while still allowing for the much-needed personal exploration and learn-how-to-ask-for-the-bathroom-in-a-new-language adventures that this trip demands.

For now, remember we can still connect in beautiful Evergreen, Colorado and we can help you better connect with your tribe through imagery.

Love what you do a little more each day.

If you’d like to find out more about storytelling headshots, book your discovery call today, and we can see if they’re the right fit for you!
